My second Solo exhibition was held in Brussels at Gallery Bog-Art Contemporary.
The gallery saw my Paris exhibition and invited me to their gallery to present my work to Brussel’s Art World.
The ‘theme’ of this exhibition was ‘Duality’ where the paintings were either paired with their opposite or represented Duality within themselves.
I exhibited 17 paintings with an overwhelming positive response from the attendes.
The style of the exhibited paintings was Distressed Figurative Expressionism (or for short DisFigurative Expressionism), a style I invented for myself.
The paintings were Figurative Portraits with subjects depicted mainly from life drawings but also my own imagination and take inspiration from today’s diverse society and events.
All paintings are a creation from my anxieties, emotional distress and unease.
All subjects portrayed are strangers, a blank canvas upon which I can pour my emotions uncompromised.
